BASH AT THE BEACH RULES

4x4 COED TOURNAM ENT RULES

All teams must report the tournament table 20 minutes prior to there first game. YOU MUST BE ON TIME! If you are not at the tournament on time, your matches will be a forfeit. If a team does not show up, no refund will be given!

  1. Tournament Format
    • Every team will make the tournament.
    • Teams will be divided into pools to be seeded for a single or double elimination tournament. Pool play matches will be one game to 25 points rally scoring (No Cap, must win by two).
    • The tournament seeding will be determined by taking the top teams and seeding them based on their pool play finish. In the case of a tie where a win/loss record alone cannot determine a seeding, we will go to the following: Head to Head, Point Differential, Points Allowed, Points Scored, and Coin Flip.
    • Pool selection, tournament seeding, match length and divisions will be handled solely by the tournament director. (Please note: Teams are divided into pools randomly. Despite all efforts to create pools with an equal distribution of talent, the possibility exists that one pool may seem stronger than another. There is no way to anticipate that and decisions on tournament seeding will be made based on the tournament director.)
    • You must report your scores to the tournament table as soon as your game is done. There are not score keepers or referees. If there are any rules questions, they need to be made to the tournament director. DIRECTOR'S DECISIONS ARE FINAL!
  2. Facility
    • No coolers or outside drinks can be brought into the Spikes. Spikes will have their bar open and drinks can be purchased inside. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE FACILITY! ANYONE CAUGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE TOURNAMENT AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN!
